Sardis Elementary has been a part of Chilliwack's community since 1885. The original school had one room and was located a short distance away from the current location. The structure was rebuilt in brick in 1914 and opened in 1915 at its present location. The school as it stands today was comleted in 1993. Sardis Elementary began with eleven pupils over over one hundred and twenty years ago. Today the school provides education for close to five hundred students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. From blackboards to computers, Sardis Elementary continues to evolve and provide a solid educational foundation for the future.
