Thanks to all the parents and students who are working to make our parking lot a safer place by slowing down when driving and using the crosswalks when walking their childfen to the school.
We have started our new plan of having the students line up outside before they come into the building and it seems to be working well. The halls are quieter and the students are able to quickly get themselves ready in their desks for work.

100 Day Canned Food Drive |

Another job well done as the students of Sardis celebrated their 100th day of school by bringing in over 1700 cans of food to donate to the Salvation army! |

Congratulations to the students on Sardis Elementary for raising over $3700 to purchase water filters for the people of Haiti. That's enough to buy 37 filters. Your hard work and generous sprit is appreciated. |
